老實說...我最近有考慮要不要把NekoGakuen SteamworksPlus插件包含dll的原始碼在內,直接上傳至github之類給大家開源共同編輯,主要也是我現階段已經沒有多餘的心力繼續維護更新以「免費」形式發佈的插件及dll程式碼,而且我也發現到繼續以「免費」形式發佈的創作內容的意義何在,除了無法以穩定的收入得到回饋之外,最近我也在Threads看到這篇「繁體中文」的影片貼文後,也更是知道「免費幫人,幫出來的全是仇人!」的含意,畢竟在我所居住的地方算是很常發生過,「免費幫人是理所當然」的事件,而且當時的我曾為某個RPG Maker的同溫圈免費幫人結果換來的是大家背叛的慘痛經歷,但我也因此意識到了所謂的支持他人的遊戲,並不是只有一味盲目的支持自己地區的人的遊戲,既然都有「獨立遊戲」這個名詞了,就不應該還區分這是來自哪個國家的遊戲,或是這是使用哪個遊戲引擎/工具的遊戲,我個人說真的這樣的想法真的非常愚蠢,有些少部分的人在社群上發文例如「我們一起來支持自己XX國家的獨立遊戲」,我覺得會這樣想的人,大概連稱讚他人(不論來自哪個國家或使用遊戲引擎/工具)的遊戲都還做不到...

阿..話題扯遠了,如果你們大家覺得NekoGakuen SteamworksPlus開源可以接受的話,只是我不太會如何使用Github上傳檔案和開啟共同編輯,不知道這邊有沒有人可以教我下...



To be honest... I've been considering whether to upload the NekoGakuen SteamworksPlus plugin, including the DLL source code, to GitHub for open source collaborative editing. The main reason is that at this stage, I no longer have the extra energy to continue maintaining and updating plugins and DLL code that are released for "free". I've also been questioning the meaning of continuing to release creative content for "free" - not only is there no stable income feedback, but after seeing a "Traditional Chinese" video post on Threads recently, I better understood the meaning of "helping people for free only creates enemies!" In fact, where I live, it's quite common for people to think that "helping others for free is expected." I once had the painful experience of helping someone in the RPG Maker community for free, only to be betrayed by everyone. 

This experience made me realize that supporting other people's games shouldn't just be blindly supporting games from your own region. Since we have the term "indie games," we shouldn't be distinguishing games based on which country they're from or which game engine/tools they use. Personally, I think such thinking is really foolish. Some people post on social media saying things like "let's support indie games from our XX country" - I think people who think this way probably can't even manage to praise games made by others (regardless of their country of origin or the game engine/tools used).

Ah... I've gone off-topic. If you all think making NekoGakuen SteamworksPlus open source is acceptable, I should mention that I'm not very familiar with how to upload files to GitHub and enable collaborative editing. I wonder if anyone here could teach me...

I contribute to various open-source projects, so I have some experience with the GitHub ecosystem as a collaborator. I would love to help you, but I don't have the time or the experience to help you start a GitHub repo. However, I do want to pass on some words of encouragement.

Your plugins help out many people. In fact, I found this plugin after seeing another plugin author recommend yours as a better alternative. I understand and sympathize with the fact that you no longer want to keep developing this plugin. Maintaining a plugin for free is a time-consuming and exhausting task. Therefore, I think it would make the most sense to upload the source to GitHub so others can contribute and collaborate to make this plugin even greater.

Thank you for your hard work. Your plugin was very useful to me, and I wish you the best of luck, no matter whether you keep it closed-source or open-source.
